Faculty Development program will introduce several fundamental concepts and algorithms for machine learning. The overall objective is to familiarize its participants with basic understanding of machine learning algorithms, techniques and their applications, including general questions related to analyzing and handling large data sets. Online libraries and available data sets will be used to illustrate the application of these algorithms. The emphasis will be on providing hands on experience on various machine learning tools & techniques so that faculty can help their students in developing innovative projects with an objective of developing essential skills of machine learning as per the need of the industry. It will focus on fundamental theory, hands on experience on available tools, recent developments and research outcomes addressing the related theoretical and practical aspects on machine learning.
